The BUWA! Issue 7 focus is on Transformative Education. It will explores the kind of education we want which can shape citizens that can adapt and engage with the complexity and dynamics shaping world politics, economics, social and cultural dynamics. It will look at what needs to change for education to be an effective vehicle for social justice, especially for women and girls on the African continent. Articles in the Issue assess existing policy frameworks, the stated and unstated drivers shaping them; various tested and emerging models for ensuring access, inclusion, equity and delivery of quality education for women and girls on the continent.
