The Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 introduces a number of fundamental principles aimed at protecting personal information held by entities in the private and public sector. The Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 will establish a new regulatory body called the Information Regulator. The Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 aims to regulate the way personal information is collected, stored, disseminated and destroyed
